Wii Composite vs. Component Cables

November 30, 2006

I finally received my Wii component cable, which I ordered before I even had a Wii, allowing me to run in 480p mode on my Pioneer plasma as well as providing a higher detail overall image with more accurate colors. I've taken some comparative photos of various Wii screens as seen through both the stock composite and the new component cables.

Have a look for yourself.

Reading this made me think of a question and yes I know it has nothing to do with the topic per-say. I was just wonding as I see from the 3 blogs I watch and read (all geek, all the time) each of you have a Wii or PS3, etc. Is buying this stuff a tax right-off in anyway if your blog makes you any money (google ads or such?)

Well, if I purchased it specifically for a review or something then, yes, I think I could write off something like the PS3 or Wii. I write off certain portions of my home computer setup as it is where I run my sites, which are indeed home businesses.

And yes, Google AdSense is my primary source of website income, the most being generated at http://www.ipodhacks.com

I have not and am not writing off the Wii tho.

I saw on the news that the money they dumped at Shire was fake, to represent the money he had raised. It wasn't the actual money.I have to admit to a raised eyebrow with this as well.

Liberals should be more sceptical. It is natural that the state and politicians believe that all citizens should pursue an active interest in who governs them. However, that is not the case.
